Websites for accountants, bookkeepers and financial advisers

I spent time as a financial planner running my own practice before I did this. So I know what your website is actually up against, and it is not other websites.

It is a person deciding whether to hand something consequential to a stranger.

The thing most sites in this field get wrong

They lead with the service list. Tax returns, BAS, SMSF, cash flow, statements of advice. All accurate, all necessary, and none of it answers the only question the reader is actually holding: can I trust this person, and are they the right one for someone like me?

Fear of choosing wrong is the dominant feeling on the other side of that screen. Most accountant and adviser sites do nothing to reduce it. They describe the work, list the qualifications in the footer, and finish with “book a consultation.”

What changes when it is built properly

You are named, early. Not the firm, you. In this field the relationship is the product, and a reader deciding on trust needs a person to attach it to.

Who you are for is stated plainly. “Accounting services for small business” is everyone, which reads as no one. Contractors and tradies. Medical practices. Early stage founders. SMSF trustees. Naming it costs you the leads you were never going to convert and wins the ones you were.

Proof sits where the decision happens. Registrations, licence details, years in practice, and the client story that sounds like the reader’s situation, all moved above the fold instead of buried at the bottom.

The next step is defined. “Book a consultation” asks for an hour and promises nothing. Give the first conversation a shape and a takeaway and the click gets easy.

Built inside your compliance constraints

I build to your regulatory reality rather than around it. No performance claims, no implied guarantees, required disclosures and licence details placed properly rather than hidden, and any wording that touches advice left for you or your licensee to sign off. If you are authorised under a licensee with its own marketing rules, send them through and I will build to them.

This is probably not for you if

Your work comes entirely by referral, your book is full, and your website is effectively a business card people check after someone has already recommended you. That is a perfectly good way to run a practice. If that is your situation, your money is better spent somewhere else, and I would rather say so now than after you have paid.

If you are trying to grow past the referrals you already have, or shift toward advisory work and away from compliance work, the website is doing real work and it is worth looking at.

How it works

Every build starts with the 60-Second Homepage Audit. US$199, and I record a short video walking through your real page and naming the three fixes. If it doesn’t show you something you didn’t already know, tell me and I’ll refund it. If you go ahead with a build within 14 days, the US$199 comes off in full.
